The University of Delaware Master Players Concert Series presents in spring of 2016, a new mini-series in Wilmington: Verdant Soirées. Spread across three innovative and intimate salon-type evenings, Verdant promotes musical entrepreneurship and provides a setting for cross-generational audiences, including young professionals, to network and mingle with each other, enjoy fine food and music, as well as the rare opportunity to engage one-on-one with master performers and local young artists. These 2-hour events, held 5pm-7pm at the Blue Ball Barn, include hors d'oeuvres and cocktails by esteemed local Delaware establishments.

 

Join us April 24th for A Musical Hike, an Earth Day weekend event, celebrating music and nature. In partnership with the Appalachian Mountain Club, ticket holders are invited the day prior, April 23rd, to participate in a privately guided hike through the beautiful Kelly’s Run loop, with opportunities to interact with Verdant artists and producers, culminating in lunch at Pinnacle Overlook with spectacular views of the Susquehanna River.

Tickets are $40, and include heavy hors d’oeuvres created by local culinary sensation The Wandering Chef, with access to the previous day’s exclusively guided hike.
