Justin Chou
Justin Chou is a performer, teacher, producer, and project manager. Always seeking innovative ways to bring music to new audiences, Justin’s projects include the Verdant Soirées series based in Wilmington, Delaware that brings classical music to the community in partnership with the Master Players Concert Series. The series showcases eclectic pairings such as “A Musical Hike”, an Earth day celebration, and “Musicians’ Brew”, a pairing of microbrews and music.
One of his greatest passions is using the power of music to forward just social causes. He has created projects as Violins4ward and concerts such as “No Violence, Just Violins” to promote violence awareness and life in harmony. Justin received his concert production training and Master’s degree in performance from the University of Delaware under the tutelage of Xiang Gao, with whom Justin routinely performs and co-produces.
As an avid teacher, Justin teaches a full studio with students from across Delaware and Pennsylvania and can be seen at international music festivals like the Master Players Festival, where he also serves as Director of Admissions. He found his great love of teaching while studying at the University of Wisconsin under professors Felicia Moye and Vartan Manoogian where he received the esteemed Ivan Galamian Award.
A multi-faceted individual, Justin Chou is also a project manager for an investing firm and enjoys a passion for spreading financial knowledge. By combining his musical, educational, production, and management skills, Justin brings a unique perspective and dedication to his role as project manager for Blue Resources, bridging China and the US through focused online communications and special educational events.
